I will probably -not- need the room combine feature for the current project, so I will reply with more info once I have tested the other modules. You are currently in "Guest" mode and not logged in with a registered account. Here are screengrabs from v2.12 and v2.7 for reference.Ĭrestron Module - "Bose_ControlSpace_Room_Combine_2.7.umc" Crestron Module - "Bose_ControlSpace_Room_Combine_v2.12.umc" ush are in the User SPlus or Project direcroty and compiled successfully.

ush compiled header file for User Simpl Plus symbol at. Check location in User SIMPL+ or program folder, or recompile the associated. Symbol S-1 (Bose_ControlSpace_Room_Combine_Processor_v2.12.USH) in module S-11.1.2 (Module file C:\Users\Public\Documents\Crestron\SIMPL\Usrmacro\Bose_ControlSpace_Room_Combine_v2.12.umc) cannot be opened. (Bose_ControlSpace_Room_Combine_Processor_v2.12.usp ?) The Room Combine Processor Simpl+ file seems to be missing / improperly referenced. I get compliation errors with the Room Combine-module. Haven't had time to test these yet, but will do so shortly. Happy to provide more information if needed.
CRESTRON SIMPL FORUM DRIVERS
Relevant parameters of Crestron Drivers / modules. Same issue occurs if changes are made using CSD while online to the DSP.ġ.1 Command sent to Post-AEC AMM - set mute, get mute.ģ.1 Forwarded data from ComManager module to MicMixer-TCCPost module.Ĥ.1 Automatic notification from #MicMixer-TCCPre block, which is never forwarded to MicMixer-TCCPre module.Įxample set up of above linked AMM modules of CSD modules.
CRESTRON SIMPL FORUM SERIAL
The serial feedback from the DSP indicates this is working correctly, but the Crestron drivers does not parse those responses, and does not forward that data to relevant modules.
Here the mute state of two AMMs are linked, meaning that when #MicMixer-TCCPost is muted, #MicMixer-TCCPre is also muted. The Crestron drivers does not parse those notifications.
Automatic notifications does not seem to be supported.Īccording to the ControlSpace Serial Control Protocol documentation, the DSP transmits any changes over the serial connection for modules starting with #. ("#MicMixer-PreAEC">10>2=O ģ.1 Commands for mute on, followed by get muteĤ.1 Ack, Get-response, and automatic notification data from PreAEC AMM (GA"#MicMixer-PostAEC">10>2=O \x0D)Ģ.3 Automatic notification data of another AMM-block. ("DSP1_Serial_rx$" is serial data received from the DSP.)ġ.1 Commands sent - set mic 10 mute, get mic 10 mute. ("DSP1_Serial_tx$" is serial data sent to the DSP.) It is never forwarded to the AMM-module, and the mute-state of mic 11 in the Crestron processor is not updated.Ĭrestron debugging tool showing serial communication. The response for mic 11 is incorrectly parsed for unknown reason, and the ComManager disregards that data. The first and third respsonses, mic 10 / 12 mute off, is correctly parsed and resent to the AMM-module. The highlighted serial signal is the data going from the ComManager-module to the AMM-module. Sending multiple consecutive mute-commands to an AMM-block causes some feedback to be incorrectly parsed by the Communications Manager. Using labels set in CSD, which are included in the DSP responses, the ComManager identifies which module to retransmit the data to.
The Communications Manager-module (ComManager) parses incoming data from the Bose DSP, via Serial/COM/RS232 or ethernet. This mainly consists of one Communications Manager-module, and several different modules for various types of DSP-blocks (CRR, AMM, Mixer-input, selectors, etc.). This causes various feedback to be incorrectly displayed, such as Mics appearing muted after unmuting them.Ĭrestron Drivers are split into several "modules". The drivers incorrectly parses some serial responses. Reboots, renaming labels, different delays between sent commands, opening and analyzing crestron drivers, etc.Ĭrestron ControlSpace Driver-modules, v2.7.
